💰 £35,000 basic + £35,000–£45,000 OTE (uncapped)



The Opportunity


We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Executive to join a growing company within the shipping and logistics sector.


This is a full sales-cycle role where you’ll have real ownership of your pipeline—from prospecting through to closing and account development.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close and ongoing account management
  • Identify and win new business opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Conduct face-to-face client meetings across the West Midlands
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Understand client logistics needs and present tailored solutions
  • Work towards and exceed KPI and revenue targets
  • Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity and sales forecasts



What We’re Looking For


  • Confident, personable, and professional communicator
  • Motivated by targets, incentives, and career progression
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own territory
  • Experience working towards KPIs or targets (sales or non-sales backgrounds considered)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • A proactive and resilient mindset with a strong work ethic


No prior sales or logistics experience is required—full training will be provided.
